CEREMONY & RECEPTION TIME

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Your presence is requested at the venue no later than 4:45PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Late-comers will not be permitted to enter. The ceremony will last 30 minutes in duration.

DRESS CODE

Is there a dress code?

Yes! We are requesting that our guests dress in Formal/Black-Tie Optional attire. The colour theme for clothing is black. For the gentlemen, a jacket is required. For the ladies, longer dresses, pantsuits, or dressy separates are highly encouraged.

GUEST LIST & RSVPs

Are children welcome to attend?

While children of immediate family will be present, no other children will be present at this (almost) adult-only affair!

Can I bring a guest?

We have a strict guest list, and unfortunately, can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. Please refer to the RSVP section if you are unsure, or contact the bride or groom directly.

How can I let you know about my food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please indicate your food allergies or dietary restrictions in a note while RSVPing. Your allergies/dietary restrictions will be communicated with the caterer. Note there are vegetarian, gluten-free, and/or dairy-free dinner options available.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

If you're planning on shutting down the dance floor with us (which we hope you are!), you may need a place to stay the night. We have secured blocks of rooms on-site at Hotel X, which are available for purchase via a special link. Note the rooms are 40% off the lowest rate available. The link will be available starting at 6 months before the wedding, up to 30 days before the wedding. For details on rates and block codes, please visit the ACCOMMODATIONS section of the website.

Alternatively, there are plenty of hotels available nearby that are a short Uber ride away.

GIFTS

What kind of gifts would the couple prefer?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! If you wish to honour us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary gift (cash/cheque) to help us start our new life together! Thank you for your generosity and understanding.
